Buddy Reading

Today we had buddy reading with Rm3/Rm4. I had buddy reading with Villiami, Villiami came with his own book called The Avengers. I ask Villiami if he wanted to read the book but he was to exited to so he ask me to read it for him. I started reading the book the first page I read to him was about Iron man, I gave him a easy question to answer. Who was your favourite character he said Thor. I really like buddy reading because I get to know the person I am with.

Book Character Week

                  For the first week of term three, we have introduced Book week.                              Today we had our Book character parade. It is when anyone can                             come dressed as anyone from a book. This brings life to the                                   characters and let the juniors know how cool it is to read. I                                      participated in this because I wanted to show 

how I like Minions and to show my love for reading. 

Attributing Images

Today I have done My Attributing images DLO. Sebastian and Pote has helped me do this. This was mainly about the Rio Olympics.  The Olympics is is 1 week and a half away. So we attributed images to be based around this.

Orienteering Session 4

 

Today was our last session for Orienteering. We started of with Leon asking us some question then He told us to stand up if you would like to go individual. I did this Individually because I wanted to challenge my self. 

Life Ed

We received a book yesterday and it had activities inside it. Me, Zahn, Tai and Pote decided to play the snakes and ladders game today. There were spear empty boxes and we had to write in them so we could play the way we wanted. But Instead we just didn't put anything in it. We all played this game as a team an unfortunately pote beat me in the first found  

Reading games.

Today I was Practising Author's Purpose. I had to answer some questions to get to the next level, as you can see If you read the passage you have to chose another Inform, Entertain or Persuade. Story Starters

This is my story I have created today about a Young president who finds a secrete city. I had to put it on the news paper so people know that this has happen and why it did. I went to a site called Story Starters It created a topic for me so I could write about it. Story starters generate Ideas to start off your story.

Read 20

Today After Life Ed The Year 8's did Read theory. Read Theory is a site when You read a Passage and then after the passage you have to answer some questions. I got 31 points for getting it right and for trying.

Life Education - 1st Session

Today after morning tea. The year 8's went to Life Ed with Nicole. We started our  learning of with some  body parts that we have. One was our heart system, Nerves/reactions, Circulatory/Blood and  The Muscular/Muscles. We learnt about all these things plus the 5 senses. We also played two games both of them were really fun. I liked this lesson because I got to learn a lot of things like body parts that I didn't know we have.
