Flight Comparison

Zahn, Gozan and I For inquiry this term the year 8's have been learning about the Bar tailed Godwit. This DLO was about flight comparison and what do they do during the flight from New Zealand to Alaska. We were learning to create a DLO that shows how long do birds fly also to retell our story in our own words.

Jean Batten DLO - Inquiry

Today Jane and I did for our schools topic 'Flight'. Our focus for today was to create a DLO about Jean Batten, who is broke the world record to fly a aeroplane from England to Australia 14 hours and 1/2. During on her journey, she has been exploring some other city like South America, Brazil, and for her last ever trip on the aeroplane was from England to New Zealand, Auckland, Mangere.

Forces of Flight

Today, LS2 was split into its two year group's for Inquiry,the Years 8's worked on the four forces of flight. They needed to be balanced to fly for long of periods of time in the air.

Drink Water Only in Schools

Panmure Bridge School has recently introduced drink water only in schools. We have talked about what drinking water does to our body and what happens when we don't have enough of it. We also found the differences between dehydration and hydration.

Virtual Tour of Thailand

For this Activity I Worked with Freeman and Eric we learnt how to
use Imgaes properly we made a Virtual Tour of Thailand using right
and safe Images.We used the link where we got the Photo and wrote
who took the photo and the Licence.This is our DLO.

India D.L.O.

Today I have done this DLO on India for our inquiry task. I did this to show my learning and my knowledge about India. I found this task interesting because I got to found out a lot of new things like that India celebrate poly in this way, In India they throw colour powder to each other. I also found out that India is the seventh most biggest country.
