Orienteering Session 3

Today We had our Session for Orienteering.I was working with Micaiah until the last few pointers. I sprinted and came 4th after her.My time was 9:15. I hope surpass Micaiah and Zahn to come 2nd.

Today for reading my groups has been doing Current events. Me and AJ has been has been looking at the article Britain votes to stay or leave the EU. AJ and I has Challenged our self by doing three each and see who one is more interesting.

Why do people Drink and Drive?

Drinking While driving. Why should you even drink and drive?, there are better things to do. Like spend time with your family or even take them somewhere they haven’t been in there life. Drunk driving isn’t healthy for you and not a good choice to make. If you drink too much you might get into a fight or maybe even get your hands on the wheel. If you drink make the right choice and stay healthy.

Drink driving is a habit for some people. Not us but some adults around the world, if you want to drink please just listen to me for a second and put in your mind that drink driving is something we should not do in our life. Do you know why we should not drink and drive?

day, People Drive drunk More than 300,000 times throughout the world, But only about 3200 are arrested. Even taking drugs affects our driving. In 2013, 9.9 million people in the world reported driving under the influence of drugs in the past year. In 2014, 16% of all drivers involved in Serious crashes were on drugs and/or drink During the week, Compared to 29% on weekends.

What are the consequences of driving drunk? Drinking is something adults like to do when there's a birthday or when there’s a celebration for their culture often they like to drive after. One consequence that I don’t like is when they die in a serious car crash. One thing I would like to say is why can’t they let someone that isn’t drunk.

If you believe me or think that drunk driving is bad please let an adult know that drink driving is bad for them and that there life will take the wrong turn. Thank you for listening and for your time.

Today LS2 has been doing there speeches. For my speech I wrote about why people drink and drive. My group Thomas, Juanita, Mishhan, Syils and I have been voting to see who had the best speech or if there speech was interesting. My group chose Thomas to speak in front of our class because he spoke well and he was confident. When I read my speech to my group I was Nervous but Exited.

Year 8 Orienteering

Today All of the Year 8's went Orienteering. We all had to finish 4 courses to finish the whole thing. After each course we got given a new map to finish of each one. Gozan and I did a good job and worked together to finish this.

The Interviewer - So Colin how did you get inspired to be who you are today?

Colin Mckenzie - Well I have loved watching movies and I have always wanted to become a director.

The Interviewer -  How did you feel when you heard the news about your brother went to war?

Colin Mckenzie - I felt very sad that my brother died because he helped me create some of my inventions.

The Interviewer - Ok sorry that you had to go through that, but when you found out how to do colour film how do you feel?

Colin Mckenzie - When we first created the colour film it didn’t work but the second time we tried it worked and I felt special that I made colour film.

The Interviewer - Ok Colin thank you for your time and effort Now we are going to ask your wife some questions. Hi Hannah do you know why Collin made so much movies?

Hannah Mckenzie - Well I knew for a fact that something was quite missing from what he wanted to do with his life. When he told me, his young life was very hard because farming wasn’t his hobby to do and instead he changed it to make the first ever camera made.

The Interviewer - Ok Hannah Where did all of these films come from and Why was Colin so excited to do these films?

Hannah - Well when he first invented the colour and the sound film, I knew that he was so excited to make those movies with colour and film. Ever since he have pasted away I have been watching his films over and over again.

For This Task June, Gozan And I have been Writing this Script About Collin Mckenzie his Mum Hannah Mckenzie. For this Script Interview June Was Hannah Mckenzie, Gozan was Collin Mckenzie and I was The Interviewer. This Task was fun to do because I got to watch a film with my class but at the end we found out that the whole thing was fake.

Current Events DLO - Reading

Today my Class LS2 started of our day with Current events. Eric and I have been reading the article about the Cleveland Winning the NBA title. Eric and I found out that it is Cleveland's first time Winning the NBA title. I found this task very interesting and fun because I got to find out a lot of things that happened around the world.

Today I have Created a DLO to see my Blog  post This Year and Last year. Last Year I started pretty bad because I did not know that much how to blog post on my blog. This Year I started with 10 blog post so it means I have been off task and that I am distracted from my friends.
